1. Seller
Products on yumika.fr are sold by Safesurf, a sole proprietorship (micro-entreprise) operating the YUMIKA brand, 2 rue Coysevox, 69001 Lyon, France, registered with the Lyon Trade and Companies Register under number 951 138 775.

2. Scope
These terms apply to all orders placed on yumika.fr by adult private individuals acting for non-professional purposes (consumers). They prevail over any other document. By confirming your order, you declare that you have read and accepted them. The terms that apply are those in force on the date of your order.
3. Products
The essential characteristics of each bag (material, dimensions, colours, interior, how it is worn) are shown on its product page. Photos are as accurate as possible; colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings. Offers are valid while stocks last. If an ordered item is no longer available, we will tell you without delay and refund you within 14 days at the latest.
4. Prices
Prices are shown in euros. VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code: the price displayed is the final price you pay. Standard shipping is free; express shipping costs €15, an amount shown before payment. For deliveries outside the European Union, the destination country may charge import duties and taxes, which are payable by you.
We reserve the right to cancel an order placed at an obviously incorrect price; you will then be refunded in full.
5. Ordering
Choose your items, check your basket, enter your details and delivery method, then confirm your order and payment. You will receive a confirmation email summarising your order; please keep it. The contract is formed when you receive this confirmation. We may refuse an order in the event of a previous dispute, suspected fraud or a clearly abnormal order.
You can cancel your order free of charge as long as it has not been shipped, by writing to contact@yumika.fr.
6. Payment
Payment is due when you order, by bank card (Carte Bancaire, Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay or Shop Pay. Payments are processed securely by our provider (Shopify Payments); we never have access to your card numbers. Items remain our property until paid in full.
7. Delivery
Standard shipping is free. Your order is delivered within 5 days; a tracking number is emailed to you as soon as it ships. Zones, timeframes and costs are detailed on our Shipping page. If no timeframe is stated, delivery takes place no later than 30 days after the order. In the event of a delay, you may formally require us to deliver within a reasonable period and, failing that, cancel the order and be refunded within 14 days (articles L.216-6 and L.216-7 of the French Consumer Code).
Please check your parcel on receipt. If an item is damaged, incomplete or not as ordered, contact us with your order number and a photo: we will send you a replacement or refund you, at no cost.
8. Right of withdrawal and returns (30 days)
The law gives you 14 days from receipt to withdraw without giving a reason. YUMIKA extends this period to 30 days.
- How: tell us of your decision within 30 days of receipt, by email to contact@yumika.fr, using the form below or any clear statement. No customer account is needed.
- Sending back: return the item no later than 14 days after telling us. We send you the return instructions. Return shipping is paid by us.
- Condition: you may handle the item as you would in a shop to examine it. Any loss in value caused by other use may be deducted from the refund.
- Refund: no later than 14 days after your request, including the original shipping cost (excluding any express surcharge), to the payment method used. We may wait until we receive the returned item.
- Offers: if a return means the conditions of an offer are no longer met (for example a discount on a second bag), the refund is adjusted accordingly.
- Exchanges: we do not offer direct exchanges; return the item, then place a new order.
Practical details: returns and refunds policy.

9. Legal guarantees
All our bags are covered, free of charge, by the legal guarantee of conformity and the legal guarantee against hidden defects. To claim under them, email us at contact@yumika.fr with your order number and photos.
The consumer has two years from delivery of the goods to obtain the application of the legal guarantee of conformity if a lack of conformity appears. During this period, the consumer only has to prove the existence of the lack of conformity, not the date on which it appeared.
The legal guarantee of conformity entitles the consumer to have the goods repaired or replaced within thirty days of the request, free of charge and without major inconvenience.
If the goods are repaired under the legal guarantee of conformity, the consumer benefits from a six-month extension of the initial guarantee.
If the consumer asks for a repair but the seller imposes a replacement, the legal guarantee of conformity is renewed for two years from the date of replacement of the goods.
The consumer may obtain a reduction of the purchase price while keeping the goods, or terminate the contract and be refunded in full against return of the goods, if:
1° The seller refuses to repair or replace the goods;
2° The repair or replacement of the goods takes place after a period of thirty days;
3° The repair or replacement of the goods causes major inconvenience to the consumer, in particular where the consumer definitively bears the cost of taking back or removing the non-conforming goods, or bears the cost of installing the repaired or replacement goods;
4° The lack of conformity of the goods persists despite the seller's unsuccessful attempt to bring them into conformity.
The consumer is also entitled to a reduction of the price of the goods or to termination of the contract where the lack of conformity is so serious that it justifies an immediate price reduction or termination of the contract. The consumer is then not required to request repair or replacement of the goods beforehand.
The consumer is not entitled to terminate the sale if the lack of conformity is minor.
Any period during which the goods are immobilised for repair or replacement suspends the remaining guarantee until delivery of the repaired goods.
The rights mentioned above result from the application of articles L. 217-1 to L. 217-32 of the French Consumer Code.
A seller who in bad faith obstructs the application of the legal guarantee of conformity is liable to a civil fine of up to €300,000, which may be increased to 10% of average annual turnover (article L. 242-18-1 of the French Consumer Code).
The consumer also benefits from the legal guarantee against hidden defects under articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, for two years from discovery of the defect. This guarantee gives the right to a price reduction if the goods are kept, or a full refund against return of the goods.
The guarantees do not cover normal wear and tear, or damage caused by misuse or lack of care.
10. Liability
We cannot be held liable for a failure caused by you, by the unforeseeable and insurmountable act of a third party, or by force majeure (article 1218 of the French Civil Code). Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
11. Personal data
Your data is processed to manage your order and, if you agree, to send you our news. Your rights and the details of the processing are set out in our privacy policy.
12. Complaints and mediation
For any complaint, please contact our customer service first at contact@yumika.fr. If no solution is found, you may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator Medicys: 73 boulevard de Clichy, 75009 Paris – www.medicys.fr.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law, without depriving you of the protective provisions of your country of residence. Failing an amicable agreement, you may bring the matter before the court of your place of residence or of the place of delivery.
